Azmal Hossan, MA, MSS

Azmal is a Bangladeshi PhD student in Sociology and National Research Trainee in Interdisciplinary Training, Education and Research in Food-Energy-Water Systems at Colorado State University, interested in human dimensions of climate change, sociology of food, agriculture and nutrition, and environmental justice. For his PhD dissertation, he is focusing on how climate change and regional political economy are affecting irrigation-based agriculture in Bangladesh. Beside this, he is actively involved in various interdisciplinary research projects like climate gentrification and socio-environmental injustice at SESYNC, SETS manifesto of green infrastructure at UREx SRN, community resilience through sustainable water resource management at SCCASC.
