Azmal Hossan

Azmal is a Bangladeshi PhD student in Sociology and National Research Trainee in Interdisciplinary Training, Education and Research in Food-Energy-Water Systems at Colorado State University, interested in human dimensions of climate change, sociology of food, agriculture and nutrition, and environmental justice. For my PhD dissertation, I am focusing on how climate change and regional political economy are affecting irrigation-based agriculture in Bangladesh. Beside this, I am actively involved in various interdisciplinary research projects like climate gentrification and socio-environmental injustice at SESYNC, SETS manifesto of green infrastructure at UREx SRN, community resilience through sustainable water resource management at SCCASC.
